Super good and great prices! It's inside the airstream food truck garden. Lots of vegetarian options (rice is vegetarian!)

I had the Calavera Taco. Oh my gosh, the flavors were awesome. I'm a little sad as I don't live in Pensacola, but I will definitely be back I. The future.

Really enjoyed the nachos and mango soda. Disappointed they charge $0.50 for a cup of water when ordering $15 worth of hot and spicy food. Also why do food trucks have tip jars IN YOUR FACE when ordering?

The other night my daughter and I visited "The Garden" on Palafox at Main. The concept of colocating all these food vendors together, kind of like a food truck rodeo, but in a more permanent setting is awesome. Yelp advertises that the stalls are open until 9 pm. We arrived at 8:28 pm. All but one vendor had already shut down! I would have ordered from Calavera Tacos even if everyone else was open, but unfortunately my daughter wasn't in the mood for south of the border inspired cuisine. I ordered a hurricane shrimp taco (that was SCREAMIN' GOOD!) and a calavera taco that was also very tasty and made it a combo with beans, rice, and a drink. Everything was really good. I just have to say, the business owners here, Sam excluded, are awful! How do you advertise a closing time, have people travel to get your food, only to arrive and learn that you didn't care enough to keep your commitment to the patrons that pay your bills??? Sam and Calavera Tacos have integrity, great staff, delicious food, and epic personality! We will be back!

Calavera Tacos is a food truck-type place that's in the middle of a covered patio, outdoor area called The Garden. It used to be called Al Fresco, which was a better name, but what can you do. There were several options to choose from, like a mac 'n' cheese truck, a Latin truck, a Thai truck, but we definitely were feeling tacos. So I walk up to the place and tell the guy to give me their six best tacos and a bottle of Jarritos. I honestly cannot remember the six tacos the guy chose for me, but I do remember that each of them was a banger. They all just weren't globs of meat and cheese and lettuce. Each of them had shining, stand-out elements. Whether is be the acid of the ceviche, the melty cheese, the plump massive shrimp, the pickled onions, the corn salsa, of the big hunks of avocado. Each taco was very different from the next, which was so nice. Also, just so you know. These tacos were on little flour tortillas. Some people out there are gonna get in a wad and say that's sacrilegious, but you people gotta get over yourself. The toppings in these tacos were so plentiful and juicy that they needed the strength of the flour tortilla instead of the weakness of the corn tortilla. I approve. Overall, this was a pleasant diamond in the rough that we found in the streets of downtown Pensacola. I don't get to come home very often, but I think when I do, I'm going to have to start exploring The Garden a little bit more.

Located downtown in the food truck park next to Ruby slipper. I ordered the mucho nachos with ground beef. They give you a huge portion and it's loaded! These nachos were so good although I couldn't finish it all I enjoyed every bite!
